On April 12th, the RRISD Curriculum Department hosted its final ARRC Redesign Open House. This was an opportunity for stakeholders of the district to provide feedback on the new platform and design of the Aligned Round Rock Curriculum. Round Rock ISD staff members with diverse roles were in attendance and were presented with various tasks to determine the ease at which they could navigate the new site. They also had an opportunity to answer focused questions allowing the department to make changes to the soon to be re-launched ARRC.
The final phase of the ARRC Redesign has now began with the Curriculum Department determining a work schedule earlier this week.
Below are some important dates to be aware of:
May 28, 2018 – Tentative Launch of the Redesigned ARRC; includes units from the first grading period
June 4, 2018 – Desktop Icon transitions to the new site
June 22, 2018 – Remaining First Semester Units will be available
September 28, 2018 – Second Semester Units will be available
* Current unit timelines will be available until replaced by new unit timelines
We would like to thank all the individuals that gave their time during this process, to give feedback. Your efforts will make the ARRC the best resource possible. Please be on the lookout for training opportunities beginning in late May.
